When a new client starts using eDocs in MYOB Greentree, they are automatically using the global knowledge as trained by other eDocs clients. If there is never any reason to retrain documents, the Global Knowledge takes precedence for the client.
The global knowledge might change over time, e.g. if global knowledge is updated due to consistent scraping from another client.
When a client has trained 5–8 documents for a supplier, in a consistent manner - meaning same fields and selections, this is considered Local Knowledge and takes precedence.
eDoc training tips
If you open a document and save it without correcting any values, you are training the system to accept any scraped fields as they were. To avoid this, close the document with the red X symbol instead of saving.
When reviewing a document in Xtracta, a blue field means it was updated by a user, instead of having been scraped that way. A green indicates it was scraped on initial import by the system.
