2FA error: "Your MYOB ID or other 2FA account is not associated with your MYOB Acumatica account"

"Your MYOB ID or other 2FA account is not associated with your MYOB Acumatica account. Sign in using the green button and the accounts will be automatically associated."

This error affects versions 2024.1 and later

To check your version, see the Build number at the bottom of the sign-in screen. 

This error happens when you try signing in with the purple MYOB ID button, but your MYOB Acumatica account is not associated with your MYOB ID account. 

MYOB ID is the default 2FA service for most of MYOB's products. 

Fix the issue by associating your accounts

To associate your MYOB Acumatica account with your MYOB ID account, start by signing in to MYOB Acumatica with the green Sign In button. Your account will be automatically associated
