Active Payment Methods Not Displaying on Process Bank Transactions or Customer Screen

This may appear as an error such as: Error: An error occurred during processing of the field Payment Method value xx. Error: Payment Method 'xx' cannot be found in the system.

Status: Awaiting fix: Upgrade to Aurora MySQL 3.10 (LTS). 

Our plan:

  • New sites: We will have limited places available to the upgraded MySQL version from July 2026.
  • Existing sites: We will migrate all existing customers to the new version through the second half of 2026.

Active Payment Methods Not Displaying Under Customer Payment Method Tab on Process Bank Transactions screen, or Payment Method tab on Customer Screen 

This may appear as an error such as: Error: An error occurred during processing of the field Payment Method value xx. Error: Payment Method 'xx' cannot be found in the system.
 
Workaround
Newly created payment methods in recent versions (2024 R1+) appear as expected, so recreate if possible. Otherwise contact Support for a workaround script
