CA306000 Unable to Create Payment on Bank Transactions to post to the Control account

Issue

In 2025.2 and later, some users have reported that when using Create Payment from Process Bank Transactions (CA306000) and selecting a control account as the offset account, the system displays the warning: “Account xxxxx is a control account for AP. Although posting to this account is allowed, we recommend that you select a non-control account.” Although the message indicates posting should be allowed, the warning is currently behaving as a hard block and prevents the payment from being created.
