Cannot set shared contact as primary - value silently resets on save

Issue

After upgrading to Acumatica 25R1, users cannot set a shared contact as the primary contact on Customer or Business Account records. When attempting to do so, the PrimaryContactID value silently reset without any error or warning.

 

Workaround

No workaround
