Cross-Selling ML Generation Schedule causing Performance Degradation

Issue

From the 2025.2.1 release, the "Cross-Selling ML Generation" automation schedule has been causing performance degradation. The issue breakdown is as follows:

Schedule is active by default — The Cross-Selling ML Generation schedule is enabled out-of-the-box in 2025.2.1, running every 5 minutes on all sites.

Schedule execution fails — The schedule consistently fails to execute successfully, incrementing the Abort Counter field on every failure. This counter causes performance issues 

Workaround

A script has been actioned across sites to turn this off

However, sites would have ability to turn this back on if needed. Be aware this may affect performance 

Sites can also disable the schedule from within the application
