Deleted Purchase Order Still Linked to Service Order

Issue

You may find that a deleted Purchase Order remains linked to a Service Order and still appears in the Create Purchase Order screen

 

This is the current intended behavior in the system. Users are not allowed to delete a line from the service order if it is linked to a purchase order for which a purchase receipt has already been created and released.

As a workaround, you can update the quantity of the line item to zero by following these steps:

  1. In the Service Order, go to the Details tab.
  2. Select the line item with relevant Ref Nbr, then click on Line Details.
  3. Change the quantity of the line associated with the receipt to 0.
  4. Save the changes.

If the PO receipt has already been released, the system will prevent deletion to protect historical accuracy. In this case please contact MYOB Support for a workaround script
