Check all changes in a test environment before taking them live. Make sure all related features still work as expected and that your data is unaffected.
In most cases you will have deployed a live and a test company for each of your clients, the question usually arises "how do I differentiate the test company from the live company?"
The easiest and best method to differentiate is to change the Interface Theme in the Site Preferences from Default to Sandbox within the test company.
This setting is found in Screen ID SM20050 or menu path [Configuration \ Common Settings \ User Settings \ Site Preferences].
Once changing the interface theme the Purple Banner at the top of the screen is replaced with a different colour and Demo System is displayed at the bottom or the screen.
