Issue
When importing Standard and Scheduled hours from MYOB Workforce Management using the 'Employee Work Schedule Import' screen, the values for the day before the imported date range are being cleared.
Example:
If you import from October 1st to October 31st, any Standard or Scheduled Hours in an employee’s work schedule on September 30th are incorrectly set to 0.
Impacts:
- If employees use either the Employee Work Schedule or Employee Work Schedule - Standard Hours for their 'Definition of a Week', the total hours will be less than expected. This could cause leave taken to reduce the amount of Annual Leave weeks taken more than intended.
- If no timesheet hours are imported for the cleared day, the 'Day Worked' status can change from true to false. This can cause errors when processing leave requests for that day.
- If no timesheet hours are imported for the cleared day, the 'Day Worked' status can change from true to false. This can affect employees using the Average Daily Rate for FBAPS leave payments, as it reduces the total days worked in the last 52 weeks, resulting in a slightly higher ADP rate.
Workaround
- When importing using the 'Employee Work Schedule Import' screen, select a start date where the previous day is a non-working day.
- If the above is not practical, select a start date that is older than 52 weeks.
