Error: "Another process has added the 'INItemRep' record. Your changes will be lost"

When adding multiple warehouses under the Replenishment Parameters tab on the Stock Items (IN202500) form, you get an error: "Another process has added the 'INItemRep' record. Your changes will be lost".

This error occurs because the Stock Items form only contains default replenishment settings, which do not override warehouse-level settings and cannot be used to configure different replenishment rules per warehouse. Instead, use the Item Warehouse Details form.

 

To configure replenishment per warehouse

  1. Go to the Item Warehouse Details form (IN204500).
  2. Select the Inventory ID of the stock item and the Warehouse.
  3. On the Inventory Planning tab, select the Override Replenishment Settings checkbox.
  4. Enter the Replenishment Source.
  5. Override the Reorder Point (Min) and Max Qty.
  6. Save your changes.
  7. Repeat steps 2 to 6 for each warehouse.
