Error: “Cash account is under the matching process. Your changes will be lost”

When using Process Bank Transactions (CA501000), if you receive the following error message when saving or matching transactions:

“Cash account is under the matching process. Your changes will be lost.”

This can occur if an Auto-Match process was started but did not complete successfully.

To clear the matching process lock:

  1. Open Process Bank Transactions (CA501000).
  2. Select the affected cash account.
  3. Run Auto-Match again and allow the process to complete.
  4. Once complete, select Unmatch All if required.
  5. Retry matching or saving the transactions.

If the issue continues after completing the steps above, contact support for further investigation.
