Error when updating Employee Record: “Pay Run Template ID: This is not a valid pay run template”

This error occurs when an employee is assigned a Pay Run Template that no longer exists in the system. Typically, the template was previously assigned, but has since been deleted. 

How to identify

  1. Go to Employees 
  2. Open Column Settings and select Pay Run Template
  3. Search for the affected employee

You may see a template value that is no longer valid.

Resolution

To resolve the error, you will need to set up or allocate a valid Pay Run Template to this Employee
