External identity manager can't associate their own 2FA account
If you have the External Identity Manager role, associating your own MYOB Acumatica and MYOB ID accounts isn't working properly.
On the External Identity Management form, clicking Associate External Identity for your account doesn't open the MYOB ID association screen like it should. Instead, you receive an onboarding email with a link to sign up for 2FA, but the link doesn't work.
This issue affects versions 2024.1 and 2024.2.

Workaround: Temporarily remove your external identity manager role
- Go to the Users form.
- In the Login field, select your username.
- On the Roles tab, deselect the External Identity Manager role.
- Save your changes.
- Go to the External Identity Management form.
- In the table row with your MYOB Acumatica user, select the checkbox.
- On the toolbar, click Associate External Identity.
- In the Associate Users window, the Provider ID defaults to MYOB ID. Click OK.
Either the Sign up to MYOB or Sign in to MYOB screen opens. - Follow the instructions to either create a new MYOB ID account or sign in to your existing one.
- After associating your accounts, go back to the Users form.
- Reselect the External Identity Manager role for yourself and save your changes.
