Failed email schedules causing site slowdowns

Issue

In MYOB Acumatica 2024 R1, if an email schedule failed or partially failed, this could affect the site’s performance

When an email schedule fails, the details can be found in the Automation Schedule History (SM205035) & System Monitor (SM201530) logs

Solutions

A failed email schedule can be due to many reasons, such as:

  • An invalid email address

  • A misconfigured account.

  • The automation schedule is set to 'Send and Receive' but the email acccount is only set to 'Send'

Fix the underlying issue to resolve the failing schedule. 

Where the Site is experiencing performance issues, deactivate the Automated schedule until the underlying issue is resolved
