GL301000 Unable to enter manual journals for the Cash Account, Error message 'The cash account does not exist for the following branch and account: X, YYYY'

Status: Closed. Issue is caused by incorrect system configuration rather than a product defect: the Subaccounts feature was disabled after it had already been in active use. When the feature is disabled, the system displays a warning about the risk of this action, and the customer chose to proceed at their own risk, so it won't be fixed.

Issue

The issue is related to Sub accounts. By default, the system want to set default Sub ID into the transaction which is "0" (SubID = 1), but the cash account was not configured with this sub account and expects Sub ID = "00000000000" (SubID = 2).

Workaround / Resolution:

 1. Active Subaccount feature back;
2. Create an additional cash account with Branch = X, Account = YYYY and Sub = 00000000000;
3. Deactivate Subaccount feature again.
