If FBAPS leave (sick leave, family violence leave, alternative leave or public holiday leave) is being paid at a lower rate than you expect, check your holiday act setting are correct.
Rate calculations for FBAPS leave (such as sick leave and alternative holidays) can be complicated. If the rate of an employee's FBAPS leave seems lower than you expect, you should check their holiday act settings to make sure you've selected the correct calculation methods.
- Open the Employee Pay Details form (MPPP2310) and select the employee in question.
- Open the Employment tab.
- Check the Holiday Act Settings are correct:
- The RDP Source should normally be set to Standard Rate.

To select the higher rate calculation, set Ordinary Weekly Pay Rate to Standard Pay or OWP (4 wk average).
- Save the record.
- Click Yes when prompted Do you want to reset the employee's pay? to apply the new settings to the employee's current pay.
- Open the employee's pay and check the new rate.
