Professional Services Edition: "Unknown column..." error when opening the Run Project Billing screen (PM50300)

Error: "Unknown column 'PMProject.UsrMYPExParentContractID' in 'where clause'"

Issue

When opening the Run Project Billing screen (PM50300), users are getting the error "Unknown column 'PMProject.UsrMYPExParentContractID' in 'where clause'".

This error prevents you from accessing the screen entirely.

Workaround

Instead of using the Run Project Billing screen, go to the Projects (PM3010PL) screen, select the project, and click the Run Project Billing action button.
