Resetting passwords
Learn about different ways of signing in and recovering forgotten sign-in credentials
The steps for resetting your password depend on how you sign in to MYOB Acumatica, either the:
- Green Sign in button in the Standard login section, which only requires a username and password.
- Purple Sign in with MYOB ID button (previously Secure Authentication). MYOB ID is the default two-factor authentication (2FA) service for most of MYOB's products, including MYOB Acumatica.
Resetting your standard login password or username
To start the password reset process, click Forgot Your Password?. You'll either get an automatic password reset email, or an alert to your system administrator to reset the password for you.
If you have access to multiple MYOB Acumatica tenants, you need to change the password separately for each tenant.
Resetting your 2FA password
If you sign in with 2FA, you have an MYOB Acumatica user profile that is associated with an MYOB 2FA account. The password for your 2FA account can be different from the password for your MYOB Acumatica user profile.
To start the reset process, click the purple Sign in with MYOB ID (previously Secure Authentication) button and enter your email address. Then, click Forgotten your password?.
Not getting emailed a password reset link? It means no 2FA account exists for the email address you're using. Try signing in with the green standard login button.
Resetting other users' sign-in credentials
If you're a site administrator or MYOB Partner, you can reset sign-in credentials for users signing in with standard login or workforce management login.
This is useful in situations where the user can't do it themselves – for example, if they've forgotten their username.
