Resetting passwords and 2FA methods

The steps for resetting your password depend on whether you use standard login or two-factor authentication (2FA). In some cases, you might need help from MYOB support to reset your 2FA methods.

Confused about which login you use? Learn the difference between sign-in options.

To start the password reset process, click Forgot Your Password?. You'll either get an automatic password reset email, or an alert to your system administrator to reset the password for you.

If you use 2FA (purple Sign in with MYOB ID button)

If you sign in with 2FA (using the purple Sign, you have an MYOB Acumatica user profile that is associated with an MYOB 2FA account. The password for your 2FA account can be different from the password for your MYOB Acumatica user profile.

To start the reset process, click the purple Sign in with MYOB ID (previously Secure Authentication) button and enter your email address. Then, click Forgotten your password?.

Resetting a 2FA password

Not getting emailed a password reset link? It means no 2FA account exists for the email address you're using. Try signing in with the green standard login button.

Resetting 2FA methods

Your 2FA method is how you get an authentication code after entering your password – either an authenticator app, SMS or email.

If your authentication codes aren't working, or you're not sure what method you previously used, contact MYOB support for help resetting your 2FA method.

Resetting other users' sign-in credentials

If you're a site administrator or MYOB Partner, you can reset sign-in credentials for users signing in with standard login or workforce management login.

This is useful in situations where the user can't do it themselves – for example, if they've forgotten their username.
