Scheduling a system lockout
When it's time for you to publish a customisation project, we recommend that you schedule a system lockout, which temporarily prevents users from accessing MYOB Acumatica.
This prevents work-in-progress from being lost, as publishing a customisation restarts your MYOB Acumatica site.
Permissions required to schedule a lockout
You can only schedule a lockout if you have been assigned a Full User licence and the Lockout Manager role.
Schedule a lockout
- Go to the Schedule Lockout form (MBSM2035).
- On the form toolbar, click Schedule Lockout.
- In the Schedule Lockout dialog box, specify the date and time when the system will be locked out and the reason for the lockout. If you want the lockout to start immediately, specify the current date and time.
- If you want to lock out only the current site (but not all sites that use the same database) deselect the Lock Out All Sites check box.
- Click OK to lock out the system at the specified time.
Unlocking a site
After you've finished customisation has been published, you can unlock the site.
- Go to the Schedule Lockout form (MBSM2035).
- On the form toolbar, click Stop Lockout.
