Payroll administrators must sign in with 2FA (AU)

MYOB Acumatica payroll administrators have access to sensitive information in MYOB Acumatica. To keep this information as secure as possible, we've started following new Australian Taxation Office (ATO) guidelines that require payroll administrators to sign in with two-factor authentication (2FA).

If you're a payroll administrator in Australia and you use the green Sign in button to access MYOB Acumatica, you must set up 2FA.

If you already use the purple Secure Authentication button, then you’re sorted – you don’t need to change anything. (In version 2024.2, the purple button was re-labelled Sign in with MYOB ID.)

Set up 2FA

To start signing in with 2FA, you associate your MYOB Acumatica account with an MYOB ID account. MYOB ID is the default 2FA service for most of MYOB's products, including MYOB Acumatica.

The steps for associating accounts differ depending on the version you're using:

Not sure which version you're using? Check the Build number at the bottom of the sign-in screen.
