      Set up Long Service Leave Accrual with Hours as unit

      This knowledge base article shows you how to set up Long Service Leave Accruals using hours as units.

      Build 2021.117.400.6951 [21.117.0037] onward.

      1. In the Entitlement (MPPP3300) screen, create a new entitlement for Long Service Leave, ensure that the units are set up as Hours rather than Days.
      2. In the Accrual From tab, select the relevant Pay Items that this Long Service Leave entitlement accrues from:
      3. In the Pay Items screen, select the Long Service Leave pay item and link the entitlement you created above to this Long Service Leave Pay Item.
      4. On the Calculation Method tab, select Accrual Method = Accrual Pro Rata
      5. On the Additional Info tab, select the following:
        1. Show on Payslip
        2. Show Calculated Units
        3. Exclude from Allocation
        4. Include Accrual in GL.
        5. Select the relevant General Ledger purpose for this Pay Item:

       

      Long Service Leave is now set up.
