      (SO301000) Unable to cancel or delete Sales Order. Error : IN Error: Updating item xx in warehouse xx quantity available for shipment will go negative

      Issue

      (SO301000) Unable to cancel or delete Sales Order. Error : IN Error: Updating item xx in warehouse xx quantity available for shipment will go negative. This is occurring because the Sales Order is associated with a Blanket Order which it shouldn't be

       

      Workaround

      Note the workaround below may vary slightly site to site. Please contact MYOB Support if you need help executing this on your site 

      • Go to SO201000 screen

      • Select SA order type

      • Clear Require Stock Allocation checkbox on Template tab

      • Save

      • Go to IN201000 screen

      • Select OTM Class ID

      • Select Allow Negative Quantity checkbox

      • Save

      • Delete or Cancel problematative Sales order 

      • Revert changes for Require Stock Allocation and Allow Negative Quantity. SA Require Stock Allocation checkbox should be selected, OTM Allow Negative Quantity checkbox should be cleared
