STP Pay Event batches stuck In Open status

STP Submissions are stuck in the status Open following the completion of a pay run.

Issue

After the first pay run of the day has been completed, users attempting to send the STP Pay Event batch have found that it does not submit to the ATO and remains in an Open status. This issue appears to affect only the first STP Pay Event batch sent each day. Subsequent STP batches sent on the same day will process without issues. 

This issue is happening on sites using build versions 2025.1.500/2025.1.501 and 2025.2.1/2025.2.2

 

Workaround

Users will need to send an STP Update Event to ensure that the required figures are sent to the ATO.

Note: 'Update Events' will only send Employee YTD figures. Manual updates will be required with the ATO to update the Employer Total Gross and PAYGW amounts
