On the Superannuation Funds form (MPPP2152), deselecting the Override (must use SAFF) checkbox can cause an error: "An error occurred during processing of the field OverrideFundDetails: Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
Contact the ATO about removed regulation details
The error occurs because the super fund's regulation details were removed from the Super Fund Lookup. The ATO removes a fund's regulation details if the fund hasn't lodged its annual returns.
There are no workarounds in MYOB to fix this error. Instead, an authorised contact for the fund has to contact the ATO about restoring regulation details. For more details, see the Super Fund Lookup website.
After restoring regulation details, you can make changes to the fund in MYOB Acumatica.
