Issue

Supplier information cannot be changed - Error: The entered ABN Number does not meet the ABN validity requirements.

 

Workaround

Either update the information in Business Accounts (CR303000) or Supplier Location (AP303010)

Or it could be that Supplier was previously listed as an AU Country and the ABN field is still showing data. To workaround this:

  • On the Supplier screen (AP303000), on the General tab, change the Country to AU 

  • The ABN field will appear in the Supplier Properties section 
  • Remove the number entered here 
  • Change country back to the original value
