Unable to delete the Sales Order - A data corruption state has been detected

Issue

Unable to delete the Sales Order and the linked shipment. The status of the Sales order is Shipping and the option to delete it is greyed out.

When deleting the shipment, the error pops up: A data corruption state has been detected. You cannot save the changes. Copy the data you have entered and reload the page. Date and Time:xx; IncidentID:x ; Name: Aggregate Validation: PX.Objects.SO.SOShipment+orderCntr. You can view detailed information about the issue on the System Events tab of the System Monitor (SM201530) form.
