Login - Can't use secure login to 24.1 with tenant selected if there are special characters in tenant name.

Issue

When logging into Acumatica in 2024.1 or 2024.2 some customers are reporting issues if they have a Tenant selected at the login screen.

Improvements to security protocols have made certain special characters that were previously allowed in Tenant names the source of errors on login.  These errors may appear in other locations, notably potentially during API request traffic.
 

Workaround

Check Tenant names at the Tenants screen, make sure that they don't include any special characters.

Long term fix

Validation of tenant names has been improved in the 2024.2 release to prevent problems in this area.
